Holiday Reading -

The holidays are filled with many activities that can interfere with reading time. But I always try to read at least one holiday book every year. To help with your holiday reading, I’m sharing six Christmas book recommendations from me and six new holiday releases for 2024.

Last Chance Christmas by Joanne Rock is a sweet holiday romance. Although it’s a few years old, it is on trend with the hockey romance.

The Christmas Wedding Guest by Susan Mallery is a sweet holiday romance about two sisters finding love in a small town.

Christmas at Rosie Hopkins Sweetshop by Jenny Colgan is full of Christmas spirit and goodies.

I’m really sneaking in a bunch of recommendations with this one. A Season of Angels by Debbie Macomber kicks off the Shirley, Goodness and Mercy series. This is a hilarious and heartwarming series about three angels whose good intentions often get them in sticky situations.

Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor kicks off a great contemporary romance series by Lisa Kleypas.There was a Hallmark Christmas movie based on it which I’ve never seen advertised again. They tried to combine characters and books in the series into one movie and it didn’t work. Stick with the book.

A Darcy Christmas is a collection of short stories connected to Pride and Prejudice. Nothing tops the original, but these stories are nice way to visit Darcy and Elizabeth for the holidays.
